Another humanitarian aid from the Pope on the way to frontline areas

This cargo is loaded with thousands of packages of canned tuna and long-term storage food.
"Despite the fact that the Italian sun is not conducive to work, especially in the hottest time of the day, the Dicastery of the Ministry of Mercy remembers those fighting at the front, those who are suffering, and those without a roof over their heads. I am thinking about Ukraine in a special way now. We are constantly receiving requests for help, especially from priests and bishops," said Cardinal Krajewski, noting that in the coming days, another humanitarian aid will arrive in the eastern regions of Ukraine.
"On the part of the Holy Father, this is a very concrete help to those who are suffering. He not only prays for them, not only makes efforts to bring peace but also thinks about all those affected by this tragedy, and those who suffer from the lack of food, especially in the frontline area," added the Apostolic Hierarch.
The Prefect of the Dicastery of the Ministry of Mercy noted that more than 240 trucks with humanitarian aid have already been sent from Hagia Sophia, which is "another gospel sign of closeness to the suffering." He explained that Elemosineria Apostolica chose this delivery channel because of the possibility of engaging Ukrainian drivers. The latter is very important because "those drivers know how to get to their destination." According to Cardinal Krajewski, all 240 trucks sent managed to get to their destinations.
