Belarusian nuns supporting Russia's war against Ukraine expelled from a fair in Poland

Last weekend, at a fair in the Polish city of Szczecin, a stall of the Minsk St. Elizabeth Monastery was noticed. This monastery is known for collecting aid (including drones and vehicles) for the Russian occupiers.

This was reported by the Telegram channel Christians Against War.

Belarusian activists from the local diaspora prepared posters with a text about the monastery's shady activities. The picketers approached the tent to warn customers that by buying goods there, they could be sponsoring the war in Ukraine.

The local media became interested in the picket and asked the fair organizers for an explanation.

For example, the Szczeciner portal from Szczecin contacted the spokesperson for the ŻSTW organization, Czalina Wolosz. She stated that “the fair organizers did not know about the activities of Belarusian nuns.” However, after getting acquainted with the information, it was decided to promptly terminate the contract with the nuns of St. Elizabeth's Monastery and stop selling their products at the fair.
