Bishop-emeritus of the Saint Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy Innocent Lotocky passed away at the age of 97.

Bishop-emeritus of the Saint Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy Innocent Lotocky passed away at the age of 97. On Saturday, June 29, Bishop Innocent was taken to hospital after having difficulty breathing. His condition deteriorated and he died on July 4.

Innocent Lotocky, born in Stari Petlykivtsi in November 3, 1915,  was ordained a priest in the Religious Order of Saint Basil the Great on November 24, 1940. He was appointed to the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Chicago on December 22, 1980, and ordained a bishop March 22, 1981. Lotocky remained at Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Chicago until July 2, 1993.

Funeral Arrangements

Friday, July 12 at 2 pm — Panakhyda and exposition of the body at Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Chicago, IL. The church will be open for the visitation from Friday, 2 pm to 7 pm (Parastas 7 pm) and 9 pm to Saturday, 10 am.

Saturday, July 13 at 10 am — Funeral Services at Saint Nicholas Cathedral.  Burial will be at Saint Nicholas Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
