Catholic Bishops of Russia Greet President Putin

During the 35th plenary session of the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Russia, the participants forwarded a greeting address to Volodymyr Putin on occasion of his being elected President of the Russian Federation.

During the 35th plenary session of the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Russia, the participants forwarded a greeting address to Volodymyr Putin on occasion of his being elected President of the Russian Federation.  

The Catholic Bishops of Russia state that they are “pleased with the status of the State-Church relations” in the country and hope for their further stable and dynamic development.

In conclusion, the bishops asked God to bless the president in his difficult service to the Motherland. So reported the Russian Service of Radio Vatican.
