Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Moshe Reuven Azman, expressed his hope that the US strikes on Iran on Sunday night would signal the beginning of the end for all totalitarian regimes around the world. However, he emphasized that he does not celebrate the loss of life.
“This day will be remembered in history as the fall of evil! Today, the malevolent force that for decades called to 'wipe Israel off the face of the earth' has crumbled to dust... What was secretly built in underground mines to destroy Jerusalem and harm all Jews has been eliminated. The ashes of the reactors are all that remain of the threat that fed terror with precious uranium and targeted the peaceful cities of Ukraine and Israel with Shahed drones! I do not take joy in the loss of life; rather, I celebrate the defeat of villains," Azman wrote on Facebook, as reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
He noted, “The wickedness nurtured in the shadows of centrifuges for uranium enrichment has been destroyed by the hand that now chooses to be an instrument of justice.”
“Let the enemies hear this warning: anyone who raises a sword against Israel and the innocent raises it against the Most High Himself and will ultimately face His judgment. May this day mark the beginning of the downfall of all totalitarian criminal regimes of the axis of evil. God bless America!” Added the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine.
As reported, on Sunday night, the U.S. struck three key nuclear facilities in Iran, as reported by U.S. President Donald Trump. The targets included the Natanz uranium enrichment facility, located 250 km south of Tehran, the secret Fordow facility near Qom in the mountains, and the nuclear research facility in Isfahan, which was established with Chinese support in 1984.
President Trump also announced that Israel and Iran have agreed to a complete and precise ceasefire.
“Congratulations to everyone! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a complete and total ceasefire (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ended” he wrote on Truth.
According to Trump, Iran will be the first to initiate the ceasefire, followed by Israel at noon.
