Constantinople delegation visits Vatican to honor the day of St. Peter and Paul

Delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate arrived in Rome on June 29 to celebrate the memory of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, according to Vatican Radio.

Delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate arrived in Rome on June 29 to celebrate the memory of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, according to Vatican Radio.

The delegation was led by Metropolitan John of Pergamon (Ziziulas), Vice-President of the International Mixed Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic and Orthodox Churches.

On June 28 the Patriarchate of Constantinople delegation met with Pope Francis.

The Vatican delegation will arrive in Istanbul in late November to celebrate the memory of St. Andrew the First-Called (November 30).
