"Courageous pastor of Euromaidan": Why German Ralf Haska received the Knight's Order of Germany

German pastor of Euromaidan. This is how the protesters called Ralph Hasca, a priest of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Catherine. Like many other Germans who worked in Kyiv at that time, he often attended peaceful protests for European integration, in particular on a humanitarian mission - he brought tea and sweets.

Later he witnessed how the authorities wanted to stop them. To prevent bloodshed during the revolution of dignity, the German pastor did not hesitate to stand between the Berkut fighters and the protesters.
