Crimean Tatars to commemorate Victims of Nazism-Stalinism

On August 23, 2011 the mourning meeting to be held at 11 a.m. in “Salgirka” park next to the memorial to the victims of deportations of the Crimean Tatar people in the framework of the European Day of Remembrance for Victims of Stalinism and Nazism to preserve the memory of the Victims of Mass Deportation and Exterminations.

On August 23, 2011, the mourning meeting will be held at 11 a.m. in Salgirka Park next to the memorial to the victims of deportations of the Crimean Tatar people as part of the European Day of Remembrance for Victims of Stalinism and Nazism to preserve the memory of the Victims of Mass Deportation and Exterminations, the Mejlis informs.

Since 2009 the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people organizes annually an information picket in Simferopol, which attended by representatives of various public and political organizations.
