Festival to celebrate Ukrainian culture in Forty Hall, Enfield

A festival will take place to celebrate Ukrainian culture.

The Spirit of Ukraine will be held this Sunday in Forty Hall, Enfield. It will feature traditional dances and music, food, egg painting and embroidery.

The Mayor of Enfield Ali Bakir and Enfield North MP Nick de Bois will attend, as well as Andy Hunder, director of the Ukrainian Institute in London.

It has been organised by The Association of Ukrainians in Britain.

Joanna Pasicznyk, from East Barnet, who helped organise the event, said: “It’s a festival to showcase our traditions. I want to show that we have a lot of history.”

The festival takes place from 12pm to 5pm.
