The highest religious organization of Uzbekistan has issued a message explaining why participating in the war against Ukraine is a sin.

This is reported by the British The Guardian, according to ua.news.

It is reported that the Muslim administration of Uzbekistan issued a statement stating that a Muslim is not allowed to participate in any military operations other than defending his homeland.

According to the Council of Muslims of Uzbekistan, members of some "terrorist organizations" tried to recruit believers to participate in the conflict in Ukraine on the basis of "jihad" or holy war.

Imam Muhammad, one of the scholars, wrote in his book Al-Siyarul Kabir: "Muslims are not allowed to unite with non-believers and fight against another community of non-believers. Participation in such actions is recognized as a sin."

It is noted that the statement of the highest religious body of Uzbekistan was made after Russia offered accelerated citizenship to foreigners when enlisting in the army.

In general, Russia uses all the mechanisms to drag people to the war in Ukraine. Now there is a so-called partial mobilization, in which the enemy must recruit at least 300 thousand soldiers.

The only region of Russia where they refused to participate in the mobilization is Chechnya. Here Kadyrov finally decided not to participate in this campaign.
