Filaret proclaimed that he would demand a new Tomos

He said this in an interview with 'Apostrophe':

“According to the canons, church issues should be resolved by the highest body of the Church - the Local Council, while Tomos states it should be done by the Patriarch of Constantinople! We are dependent, yet we call ourselves the autocephalous Church. It is all a hoax! The Patriarch of Constantinople must grant us the same Tomos he gave to the Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian, and Serbian Churches. We have demanded and will demand the Tomos that other states have!”
