Gifted an Icon to the Military: Russian propagandists say Putin visited Kherson and Luhansk regions - фото 1
Russian propaganda has begun spreading a new hoax, claiming that the president of their terrorist state visited the occupied territory of the Kherson region. Later, they reported that he was allegedly in the Luhansk region too.

This was reported by Channel 24.

On Tuesday, April 18, the Russian propaganda machine began reporting that Vladimir Putin had visited the headquarters of the "Dnipro" military group, which is based in the Kherson region.

It should be noted that there was no photo or video evidence of the dictator's visit to the occupied part of the Kherson region, and people had to wait for Moscow photoshoppers to create something. According to the Russian media, the president listened to reports from the commander of the Airborne Forces, General-Colonel Tepylnsky, the commander of the group, General-Colonel Makarevich, and other military leaders.

In addition, it was mentioned there that Putin supposedly "asked the military to express their opinion on the situation in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions and to exchange information" during the meeting. Later, it was reported that during this "visit", the President of Russia gave an icon to the military, congratulated them on Easter, and "recognized the merits" of VDV Commander Tepylnytsky, who allegedly had been on the front line for a long time and was "highly appreciated by the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff."

It is worth noting that both the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions are the directions from which the occupiers can start their "tactical retreat" very soon. It will, of course, take place within the framework of the counterattack of the Armed Forces.

Several facts indicate this. In particular, the fact that in recent weeks, more and more photos have been appearing on the network showing that the invaders are building fortifications, digging trenches - in other words, preparing for defense in these regions.

However, as we know, Russians are simply unable to effectively restrain the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is evidenced by their "gestures of goodwill" that were made in the North of our country in the spring of 2022 and in the fall of the same year in the Kharkiv and Kherson regions.
