“The place of burial was chosen exactly  the same that Metropolitan Volodymyr pointed to when alive”, said Archpriest George Kovalenko on air at Espresso.TV, reports Orthodoxy in Ukraine.

It is cemetery near the church of the Nativity of the Mother of God. Nearby there is a building in which the Primate lived for a long time. Now there is the Kyiv Metropolis.

“Next to the cemetery there is a wall, by which His Beatitude liked to walk. There people who were in Lavra daily, could often see him, and there he used to bless them”, said Fr. George Kovalenko.
