The Church of the resurrection of Christ near the "Europort" in Kherson "effectively" grew in a few hours. It was built using modern technology, a special foam, which will then be reinforced and covered with a hard cement shell.

The diocese commented on the event, calling it a pilot project. If the technology pays off in the future, where local circumstances require it, as an option, it will be possible to build such lightweight and cheaper temple structures.

"This church is being built exclusively on donations from caring people, who turned out to be quite a lot, and this made it possible to move surprisingly quickly in the implementation of this project, without attracting powerful sponsors," the diocese representative said.
