In Uman, police switched to enhanced mode to ensure order during Rosh Hashanah

The police are working in enhanced mode to ensure order and security during the Rosh Hashanah pilgrimage in Uman, Cherkasy region.

This was reported on the Facebook page of the National Police.

“To ensure security during the celebration of Rosh Hashanah, a combined detachment of police officers from neighboring regions of the state arrived in Uman. No offenses have been recorded so far,” the statement reads.

Public safety and order in Uman are ensured by police officers, servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine, rescuers of the State Emergency Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs Medical Service and other services.

"Thanks to joint efforts, the situation remains stable and under control," the police says.
