Kamianets-Podolsk eparchy of the UOC (MP) released comments on the document “Relations of the Orthodox Church with the rest of the Christian world”, adopted by the V Pre-Conciliar Pan-Orthodox Conference in Chambesy, October 10-17.

Kamianets-Podolsk eparchy of the UOC (MP) released comments on the document “Relations of the Orthodox Church with the rest of the Christian world”, adopted by the V Pre-Conciliar Pan-Orthodox Conference in Chambesy, October 10-17.

The authors of the comments have come to the conclusion that the document approved in Switzerland comes in complete contradiction with the Gospel and the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Not calling a spade a spade, a document in this case is the evidence of false and useless tolerance," diocesan representatives have summed up.

The clergymen also have warned that should the draft be adopted by the Pan-Orthodox council, “ecumenical heresy which includes the heresy of globalism, religious and political conformism will be elevated to the rank of Orthodox doctrine.”

The notes on the draft document of the Pan-Orthodox council were published on the website of Education Department of the UOC (MP).

The famous religionist Oleksandr Sagan has commented on the draft document of the Pan-Orthodox council.

"The vicar from Bukovyna is not alone in his medieval backwardness. It appears that in quiet diocesan creeks of the UOC (MP), the “Orthodox theological” (and “the only-right Christian”) life has not died away - it returns to its anti-Catholic and anti-Protestant orthodox sectarianism, compared with which the position of Athos radicals looks liberal. It is only from a “bunker” that one can declare that “Christendom” does not exist, there is only Orthodoxy (which for some reason is rapidly disappearing from the world map) as opposed to heretics, schismatics ...” - says the expert on his Facebook page.

The religionist also notes that nobody put their signaturesunder the document of Kamianets-Podilsk eparchy.

“The absurdity of the allegations is so obvious that the authors of this document were not eager to become famous, hiding under the pseudonym of “eparchy.” But the fact of placing the document on the website of the Synodal Information Department shed light on the mood at the Kyiv Metropoly,” Olexandr Sagan says.
