March 30 declared National Day of Prayer and Fasting in the intention of the presidential elections in Ukraine
On the initiative of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations and with the support of the President of Ukraine, March 30, 2019, was proclaimed Day of Prayer and Fasting in the intention of honest and peaceful presidential elections.
This was announced by the chairman of the AUCCRO, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church Vitaliy Kryvytsky, the Catholic Media Center reports.
“Presidential elections are a very important event. Let the fast and prayer of every citizen of Ukraine lead to the election of a person of the President who is worthy of it,” the statement said.
