May the radiant light of Christmas remind us that Salvation is a matter of common action, a common path forward between God and humankind
It was a time of darkness. Night. These were times of great anguish and tribulation, war, injustice, destitution, and pain. It was at this very time of darkness, that the Lord took upon Himself a human form and with it, all its suffering. A tiny child appeared on earth. He was met with the loving hands of his earthly parents. He was honored by just a handful of people that felt the revelation of Hope. From these bleak moments began the history of Salvation.
May the radiant light of Christmas remind us that Salvation is a matter of common action, a common path forward between God and humankind. Only in unity can there be Victory over evil. Let us unite in the joy of this common cause, to fill our hearts with peace and proclaim: "God is with us!" — On behalf of the community of The Ukrainian Catholic University
