Today, on December 16, everyone will be able to receive the light for their homes at the railway stations in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky, Ternopil, Uzhhorod, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Rivne, Lutsk, Korosten, Znamenka, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Poltava, Kramatorsk, Kharkiv, Izyum, Chernihiv, Konotop and Mykolaiv, where safe stands with the Peace Light of Bethlehem will be set up.

“The Light of Bethlehem was successfully delivered to the capital and traveled further across the country,” the message reads.
Ukrzaliznytsia reported that despite the air raid, the ceremony of transferring the Light of Bethlehem took place in a shelter, and after it was over, everyone could take the light to their homes.
This year is the fourth time Ukrzaliznytsia has delivered the light of the Bethlehem Fire across Ukraine. “This tradition, started by the Plast scouting organization, warms the hearts of Ukrainians across the country every year in the cold winter,” Ukrzaliznytsia said.
