Metropolitan Epifaniy to be enthroned on February 3, his 40th birthday anniversary

The enthronement of the Primate of the Oorthodox Church of Ukraine Epiphaniy is scheduled for February 3. He announced this at a presentation of the book of the Primate of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Patriarch Sviatoslav (Shevchuk), Ukrinform reports.

“Today, I would like to officially announce that the enthronement will take place on February 3,” Epifaniy said.

He invited the head of the UGCC to the ceremony of the enthronement and emphasized the development of cooperation between churches.

"We are starting the first steps of our cooperation, although we have also had a cooperation so far, in the future we will continue our dialogue, cooperation. We Christians must work together. We want to start a fruitful cooperation between the Orthodox and the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church that has existed before, but we want to deepen it, in order to work together in the future,” Epifaniy said.

On February 3, the head of the OCU will turn 40.
