Metropolitan Volodymyr Set to Visit Western Dioceses of Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate
On Monday, April 19, 2010, the archpastoral visit of the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP), Metropolitan Volodymyr, to the western dioceses of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-MP began, reports the press service of the UOC-MP.
That day the primate attended the Holy Dormition Svyatohirsk Stauropegial Convent of the Diocese of Volodymyr-Volynskyi.
On April 21 the archpastor is to visit Lutsk and to preside over the festivities dedicated to the 20th anniversary of episcopal consecration of His Grace Nyfont, the ruling bishop of the Diocese of Volyn. The same day the presentation of Peresopnytsia Gospels will be made on the premises of the Museum of Volyn Icon.
