The All-Ukrainian Association of Public Organizations Alraid, Spiritual Board of Muslims of Ukraine Umma and the public organization Ukrainian Center of Islamic Studies published an address regarding the terrorist acts in Dnipropetrovsk on 27 April.

“The alarming events in Dnipropetrovsk shook the whole Ukraine: a series of explosions in the middle of a work day injured 29 citizens including 9 minors.

“We strongly condemn these inhuman immoral actions regardless of who committed them. We express our sincere sympathy to the victims and demand that these crimes should be solved quickly in a qualified and unbiased way and that the perpetrators should be punished.

“Some forces, which can only be called dark forces, resorted to openly terrorist actions to achieve their lucrative and selfish goals. This has threatened such crucial principles and values of the Ukrainian society as social and political stability, public peace and safety, respect for inviolability of human life and unacceptability to harm the health of the population for any ideological reasons and aspirations whatsoever,” reads the address.
