OCU Primate expresses gratitude to the Greeks for supporting Ukraine

On March 24, 2026, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine attended an official reception celebrating Greece's Independence Day.

During the event, Metropolitan Epifaniy congratulated Pantelis Alexandros Dimitrakopoulos, the Greek Ambassador to Ukraine, on the national holiday.

The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) expressed gratitude to the people and government of the Hellenic Republic for their support for Ukraine amid ongoing Russian aggression. He also conveyed his hopes for the continued development of strong and friendly relations between Ukraine and Greece.
