OCU Primate visits Patriarch Bartholomew parents' house
According to the official website of the OCU, the patriarch hospitably received Metropolitan Epifaniy, told about the history of his family and showed the museum that he had set up in the room where his father's store once was. His Holiness also introduced the guests from Ukraine to his own brother, who arrived at the celebration, and his family.
The Primate of the OCU presented Patriarch Bartholomew with a Ukrainian translation of his biography prepared by Deacon John Chrysavgis, which was made by "Dukh I Litera" (Spirit and Letter) publishing house. The presentation of this publication took place on June 11 this year in the Metropolitan House.
The eventful day ended with a concert of Greek and Turkish folk and author's songs, which was organized outdoors in one of the highest points of the island of Imvros in honor of the patriarchal jubilee.
