On behalf of the UGCC, Bishop Bohdan Dziurakh congratulated the Primate of the OCU

Secretary of the Synod of Bishops of the UGCC Bishop Bohdan Dziurakh on behalf of the Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church His Beatitude Sviatoslav and the Synod of Bishops of the UGCC congratulated His Beatitude Epifaniy, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine with the first anniversary of his enthronement and forty-first birthday, the UGCC Department for Information report.

On Monday, February 3, 2020, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine celebrates the first anniversary of the enthronement of Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and all Ukraine. "Today we are celebrating a momentous event for Ukrainian Orthodoxy - the first anniversary of the enthronement of His Beatitude Epifaniy, Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine," reads an official statement from the OCU's press service.

The Bishop of the Synod of Bishops of the UGCC, Bohdan Dziurakh, took part in the celebration. During his personal meeting, he thanked the Head of the OCU Metropolitan Epifaniy for the bilateral cooperation developed by the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. In addition, Bishop Bohdan congratulated him on his 41st birthday, which markedly coincided with that day.

Responding to the greetings, Metropolitan Epifaniy noted, "We will deepen our ties and cooperation."
