The website of the former UOC-Kyiv Patriarchate has announced the Forum of the Ukrainian Intellectuals "For the Ukrainian Orthodox Church! For Kyiv Patriarchate!", reports Religion in Ukraine.

The announcement indicates that it is posted at the request of the organizing Committee of the Forum", that is, the editorial board does not identify itself with the organizers of the event. The announcement reads:

"On the initiative of the general public, on June 11, 2019, the City of Kyiv will host the Forum of Ukrainian Intellectuals "For the Ukrainian Orthodox Church! For Kyiv Patriarchate!".

The event will be attended by well-known political and public figures, eminent scientists, artists and writers, journalists and representatives of the Cossacks and ATO veterans.

Venue: Kyiv, 55 Volodymyrska str., greater conference hall of the NAS of Ukraine (2nd floor).

Beginning at 11 am (registration starts at 10: 30).

We invite representatives of the media to cover the event and the public to participate in the forum.

Accreditation by phone: 095-260-24-64 (Anton Pavlenko)."

It is obvious that this position fits into the scenario of Metropolitan Filaret, Patriarch Emeritus of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, to carry out measures to restore the UOC-KP, which ceased to exist on December 15, 2018, according to the resolution of its own Local Council.
