Patriarch Filaret Discuss Religious Freedom with Ambassador of USA

On February 24, 2012, in the office of the Kyivan Patriarchate, Patriarch Filaret met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of USA to Ukraine, John Tefft, and his wife, Mariella Tefft.
On February 24, 2012, in the office of the Kyivan Patriarchate, Patriarch Filaret met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of USA to Ukraine, John Tefft, and his wife, Mariella Tefft. The meeting was also attended by the Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Kyivan Patriarchate, Archbishop Yevstratii.
The participants discussed the question of observance of the freedom of worship in Ukraine during the friendly conversation.
The ambassador also greeted Patriarch Filaret on his anniversary of ministry recently marked by the church, the press service of the Kyivan Patriarchate reported.
