Patriarch Filaret Visits USA
On 4 November, the traditional archpastoral trip of Patriarch Filaret of Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine to USA began. The head of the Kyivan Patriarchate visits the parishes in that country each year in November, reported the press-service of 
UOC-KP.
On 5 November, the Conference of heads of parish administrations of UOC-KP was held in the parish hall of St. Michael in Uniondale, and on 6 November, a hierarchical liturgy was celebrated in the Church of St. Michael.
On 13 November, in the Church of St. Nicholas in Cooper city, Florida, Patriarch Filaret in con-celebration with the priests of the Kyivan Patriarchate will celebrate another hierarchical liturgy. He is also to participate in other events and meetings.
The patriarch is accompanied by the senior priest of the Patriarchal Cathedral of St. Volodymyr, Protopriest Borys Tabachek and Professor of the Kyivan Orthodox Theological Academy, Dmytro Stepovyk. The visit is to end on 16 November.
