The "Bucha Coin" with the image of the St. Apostle Andrew the First-Called Temple, where 119 peaceful residents were buried during the Russian occupation, was handed over to Pope Francis of Rome.

This information was reported by the "Moya Kyivshchyna" news portal, citing the Bucha City Council community.

The commemorative coin was presented to the Vatican envoy, Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, by Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

Kravchenko emphasized his gratitude that the coin, which symbolizes the indomitability of Ukrainians, has already reached its recipient.

The coin is numbered 250 and features one of the mourning symbols of the city—the St. Apostle Andrew, the First-Called Temple, where 119 peaceful residents were buried during the Russian occupation.
