On June 14, the regular working session of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) was held under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Volodymyr, at the Synod Hall of the Kyiv Metropolis, reports the UOC-MP press service.
Taking part in it were the permanent members of the synod: Metropolitan Agathangel of Odesa and Izmail, Metropolitan Onuphry of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna, Metropolitan Ioanniky of Luhansk and Alchevsk, archbishops Mark of Khust and Vynohradiv, Archbishop Metrophanes of Bila Tserkva and Bohuslav. Bishops present included Metropolitan Nifont of Lutsk and Volyn, Metropolitan Anthony of Khmennytskyy and Starokonstantinovsky and Bishop Evlogy of Sumy and Okhtyrka.
The participants of the meeting discussed important aspects of the diocesan life and administrative structure of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
