Reps of the UOC Participate in Working Session of Inter-Conciliar Presence Commission on Relations between Church, State, and Society

On March 15, 2010, the first working session of the Inter-Conciliar Presence Commission on Relations between the Church, State, and Society was conducted, led by Metropolitan Yuvenalii of Krutitsy and Kolomna.

MOSCOW – On March 15, 2010, in the Church of Christ the Savior, the first working session of the Inter-Conciliar Presence Commission on Relations between the Church, State, and Society of the Russian Orthodox Church was conducted, led by Metropolitan Yuvenalii of Krutitsy and Kolomna, reports the web site of  the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate.   

Representing the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP), taking part in the session were Bishop Aleksander of Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi, deputy chair of the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC-MP, archpriest Heorhii Kovalenko, chair of the Synodal Information Department of the UOC-MP, and hegumeness Seraphima Shevchuk, chair of the Synodal Department of the UOC-MP Mission Church and Culture.
