According to new data from the Ombudsman of Ukraine, as of today, 422 children have been killed in our country, and 805 children have been injured to varying degrees. The head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, His Beatitude Sviatoslav, said it in his daily address on the 232nd day of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.

According to him, heavy, bloody battles have been fought again on the entire front line over the past day. The most difficult situation is in the Donetsk region near Bakhmut and Avdiyivka, where the enemy constantly attacks Ukrainian positions several times a day. However, our army is steadfastly and courageously repelling these attacks.

The enemy is again firing missiles at peaceful Ukrainian cities and villages. About 40 cities and villages in Ukraine were affected by these terrible attacks. Although the intensity of attacks on cities and villages has decreased compared to a few days ago, Russia is once again tirelessly attacking cities and villages from the air.

"Yesterday, fortunately, a live child was taken out from under the rubble in Mykolayiv. We were happy with these shots, but, on the other hand, our heart aches for those cities that are daily victims of Russian missile and bomb attacks," the head of the Church said.

Because of these rocket and bomb attacks, the Primate notes, the energy supply to Ukraine was damaged. Almost a third of the facilities that generate, distribute and supply electricity were damaged. In large cities, the lack of electricity immediately turns into a serious problem of water shortage.

"We must do everything possible to give the thirsty a drink in our homeland. But Ukraine stands! Ukraine is fighting! Ukraine is praying!" said His Beatitude Sviatoslav.

The Primate of the UGCC called on Ukrainians to get rid of fear because this is what the enemy wants to inspire Ukrainians today.

Fears, Patriarch Sviatoslav believes, cause us the greatest harm.
