During the night of June 21-22, 2023, there was another instance of shelling in Kherson, resulting in further damage to the residence of the ruling hierarch of the Kherson Eparchy.
This was reported by the Information and Enlightenment Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.
This time, the most significant destruction occurred in the courtyard area and the historic archbishop's house, which includes a cross church dedicated to the Kaspirovskaya Icon of the Mother of God.
It is worth noting that in the previous instance, the residence had been damaged as a result of shelling by Russian forces on the night of February 19-20, 2023.
