Russian nuns supporting 'SVO' stripped of Estonian residence permits

07 January, 16:55

The Estonian authorities have revoked the residence permits of two Russian citizens: Abbess Katerina (Chaynikova) and Sister Juvenalia (Koroleva). They have also been banned from entering the Schengen Area.

This was reported by Christians Against War.

They received their income through their employment with the parish of Narva Cathedral, even though they actually lived in the Moscow region at the Exaltation of the Cross Jerusalem Stauropegial Convent, which they managed.

Both nuns support Russian aggression in Ukraine and publicly call for donations to the “heroes of the SVO.” They not only deliver food and medicine to the Russian-occupied Donbas in Ukraine, but also provide equipment and fuel, including strike drones and “Starlink” satellites.
