Russian Orthodox Church Opens in Pakistan

As per the information 57 people were baptized and 117 people got the sacrament of chrismation by Rev. Father Adrian. The Pakistan Mission is under the supervision of the Australian and New Zealand Diocese of the Russian Church.

This is the third Orthodox Church in Pakistan. Already there are the Greek and Coptic Orthodox Churches in Pakistan, OCP informs.

With the Blessings of Metropolitan Hilarion (Primate of Russian Church Outside Russia (Moscow Patriarchate), Russian Orthodox church was opened in Sargodha, Pakistan on 30th January, 2012. Rev.Father Adrian Augustus is a parish Priest in Sydney who serves in Pakistan. He preaches traditional Christian faith and creed of the Orthodox Church with its historical background.
