SBU detains the pro-Kremlin TikToker provoking incidents at Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra
This was reported by the SBU on Telegram, as cited by LB.ua.
The offender turned out to be a 46-year-old resident of the capital. On his own TikTok page, he posted messages denying Russia's armed aggression and discrediting Ukraine's military and political leadership.
The suspect also actively participated in provocations on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra in late March and early April of this year. During that time, he publicly incited people to resist the lawful actions of government officials and law enforcement. Additionally, he baselessly accused Ukrainian defenders of initiating the war.
During the search at the suspect's place of residence, computer equipment and a mobile phone with evidence of illegal activities were found. Currently, the investigators of the Security Service have informed the suspect about the suspicion under Part 1 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
The issue of applying preventive measures to him is being resolved. The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The comprehensive measures were conducted by the SBU employees in Kyiv and the Kyiv region under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
