The President's wife, Olena Zelenska, handed over a selection of books to the Vatican Library to be used as a Ukrainian bookshelf.

According to Ukrinform, the first lady of Ukraine announced this in Telegram.

“I handed over a selection of books to the Vatican Library. They will form a Ukrainian bookshelf that will help to better understand both our history and our present,” Zelenska said.

The President's wife also thanked everyone who wants to hear and does hear Ukraine.

“I thank the Vatican, our embassy, which has been working on this for a long time, and everyone involved. Let art, history, culture, and spirituality sound. And let the Russian bombs finally fall silent forever,” she emphasized.

POrior to this, on November 21, the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, Laura Mattarella (Italy), Diana Nausiedene (Lithuania), Tamara Vucic (Serbia), and Anna Hakobyan (Armenia), met in Rome to discuss child safety.
