Session of the UOC-MP Holy Synod Held

On February 26, 2010, at the Holy Dormition Kyiv Cave Monastery, the regular session of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate was held presided over by its head, Metropolitan Volodymyr.

KYIV — On February 26, 2010, at the Holy Dormition Kyiv Cave Monastery, the regular session of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) was held presided over by its head, Metropolitan Volodymyr, reports the web site of the UOC-MP.

Taking part in the session were Metropolitan Onuphrii of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna, Archbishop Mark of Khust and Vynohradiv, Archbishop Metrophanes of Bila Tserkva and Bohuslav, Archbishop Serhii of Ternopil and Kremenets, Archbishop Panteleimon of Kirovohrad and Novomyrhorod.


The Synod members thanked God for the visit of the patriarch of Moscow and passed an address to the newly elected President Viktor Yanukovych.
