Head of the UGCC, Sviatoslav, personally and on behalf of the Synod of Bishops, congratulated Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski, Bishop of the Eparchy of the Holy Family with residence in London and head of the Pastoral Council of the Patriarchal Curia, on his 65th birthday

This is reported to the Department of Information of the UGCC.

"On this festive day, we thank the Lord for the gift of your life, your episcopal ministry, and for other gifts with which He has abundantly blessed you and which you have generously multiplied throughout your sacrificial service to God and the Church," the congratulatory letter reads.

The head of the UGCC noted that the celebration of Bishop Kenneth's jubilee is a significant event for the entire Church and a sign of God's blessing: "Together with you, we lift our prayers to the throne of the Almighty, thanking Him for calling you to dedicate yourself to the Church and our people."

Blessed Sviatoslav pointed out that Bishop Kenneth's ministry as a priest and later as a bishop has yielded many fruits for the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church.

"For many years, first in Rome and then in Lviv, after our Church emerged from the underground, you were an assistant to the late Cardinal Myroslav Ivan Lubachivsky. Under your leadership, many church structures were revived and established, including our charitable foundation 'Caritas Ukraine.' We greatly value your work in the structures of the Patriarchal Curia, which, without exaggeration, cares for the good of the entire Church. For our faithful in Great Britain, you have become a caring father, guardian, and zealous preacher of the truth of Christ," the letter states.

The Primate expressed gratitude to the jubilarian for his service, recognized and praised his contributions, and extended heartfelt wishes for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all his endeavors, aiming to bring glory to God and benefit our Church and people.
