The Ukrainian first lady discussed the reform of inclusive education in Ukraine with Nick Vujicic

Nick Vujicic expressed support to Ukraine that defends its territorial integrity and independence in the east and in Crimea: “My parents are from Serbia and we know what the war is. My heart is with you. I love Ukraine and I will promote it all over the world”.

President’s wife Maryna Poroshenko met with world-famous motivational speaker Nick Vujicic who is currently on a visit to Ukraine.

The First Lady told about the stages of implementation of the inclusive education reform and the Ukrainian experience in removing barriers in the education of children with special educational needs in ordinary schools. Nick Vujicic was the first Australian child with disabilities to study at a regular school.

Nick Vujicic emphasized that Ukraine could become an example of rapid and successful implementation of civilized standards of life and protection of rights of people with disabilities.
