UGCC opens a geriatric house

Lviv Regional Council has granted the premises of a health care center to the Basilian Monastery where they plan to equip a modern geriatric boarding house, according to Volodymyr Hirnyak, deputy head of the LRC, Zbruch has reported with a reference to Galinfo.

 

“We hope that one of the first private geriatric boarding houses will soon begin functioning in Lviv region,” said Volodymyr Hyrniak.

 

“At the last meeting of the Lviv Regional Council, they decided to grant to the Basilian monastery the premises in the village of Slolyta, Zolochiv district. Previously, those premises belonged to the health sector. This issue is monitored by Bishop Ihor Voznyak and UGCC lawyers.
