Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers responds to UOC-MP call to revoke Tomos

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate has called to revoke the Tomos of autocephaly of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in order to abolish the autocephaly of the OCU. Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Vyacheslav Kyrylenko posted it on Twitter, according to UNN.

“In the anticipation of imminent revenge, the UOC-MP urged the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to revoke the Tomos.” The pressure on Constantinople is renewed with intensified vigor, the purpose is the abolition of the autocephaly granted to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. As reported, the holy Synod of the UOC-MP called to revoke Tomos of autocephaly to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
