On May 14, 2010, the primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP), Metropolitan Volodymyr, met with the Internal Affairs Minister of Ukraine General Anatolii Mohyliov.
The parties signed an agreement on cooperation, which aims to broaden the range of issues to be resolved jointly by the church and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Ukrainian Orthodox Church has similar agreements with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
