UOC-MP Primate Conferred Church Awards on Belarus Exarchate Delegation

On March 18, 2010, the delegation of the Belarus Exarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church visited the Holy Dormition Kyiv Cave Monastery and venerated its shrines.

KYIV – On March 18, 2010, the delegation of the Belarus Exarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church including Secretary of the Diocese of Minsk archpriest Nikolai Korzhych, archpriest Anatolii Ivashchuk, and Yakov Pesin visited the Holy Dormition Kyiv Cave Monastery and venerated its shrines.  

As reports the press service of the UOC-MP, during the visit to the monastery the guests passed to the primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate greetings from Metropolitan Filaret of Minsk and Slutsk and presented him a painting.   

In his turn Metropolitan Volodymyr conferred on the pilgrims the orders of the Holy Hierarch Dimitry (Tuptalo), Metropolitan of Rostov.

In addition, the delegation members greeted the secretary of the primate of the UOC-MP Bishop Alexander of Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi on his birthday and delivered him the order of the Holy Hierarch Kirill of Turiv of the 2nd degree.
