Considering the latest escalation of fighting on the Eastern front of the armed conflict, the delegation of the UOC of the USA followed the advice of the local authorities and postponed the visit to the immediate villages around Debaltsevo, Maryinka, etc. However, the most recent refugees from these areas benefitted from the visit of the Church’s delegation. Each person and family received monetary support, while the children in residence were treated to ice cream, which definitely ensured a great amount of love and attention to Vladyka Daniel, who with the permission of the parents, declared the establishment of an ice cream social hour in the center.
