“The result of meetings with religious leaders was the message of peace for the inhabitants of Crimea and Donbas, I am grateful to everybody who agreed. We are with you! We are together! We are one country!” he signed.

Ukrayinska Pravda contacted the press service of Zelensky for explanation why Metropolitan Epifaniy did not take part in the video appeal.

Later, the spokeswoman for the newly elected President, Olha Rudenko, told UP that they were “poposing everbody” to take part in the video appeal, including Epifaniy. Zelensky's team explains his absence by the personal decision of the Primate of the OCU.
