Archbishop Antonii of Boryspil Appointed First Vicar of Kyiv Metropolitanate

By his decree of May 8, 2012, Metropolitan Volodymyr of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) appointed the Rector of the Kyiv Spiritual Academy and Seminary of UOC-MP, Archbishop Antonii of Boryspil First Vicar of the Kyiv Metropolitanate of UOC-MP. The decree was published by the website of UOC-MP.

According to the decree, the first vicar’s responsibilities include:

Coordination of the activity of other vicars of the Kyiv Metropolitanate,

Government of monasteries and parishes of the city of Kyiv and Kyiv Eparchy,

Fulfillment of the responsibilities of the Head of the Eparchial Council of the Kyiv Eparchy,

Convocation of the Eparchial Council and Eparchial  meeting of the Kyiv Eparchy and chairmanship at these events.

Administration of the accounts of the Kyiv Metropolitanate of UOC-MP.
