This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
Representatives from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv provided the guests with an overview of the specifics of rescue operations conducted after enemy attacks. They informed the archbishop of the emergency rescue efforts and described the daily responsibilities of personnel working under the ongoing threat of further attacks.

The SES thanks the Holy See for the humanitarian aid provided to the Ukrainian people and for its solidarity and support during this challenging time for Ukraine.

Such visits demonstrate international concern for the effects of Russian aggression and provide support for Ukraine, its citizens, and the emergency responders who work daily to protect lives, according to the SES representatives.
