Archimandrite Feognost (Pushkov) was released from the pre-trial detention center in Starobilsk, where he had been held for more than 3 months since June.

This was reported on October 4 by priest Valerian Dunin-Barkovsky, who spoke with Father Feognost.

As RISU blogger Daiva Kuchinskaite wrote, on June 7, Archimandrite Feognost (Pushkov) was searched at his home in the occupied Luhansk region, and his computers and smartphones were seized. On June 18, he reported that he had received a summons to register for military service and threats of five years in prison if he refused, and on the evening of June 20, he wrote that he had been detained by Russian security forces and did not get in touch anymore.

The Peace to All Foundation and the editorial board of Christians Against War kept in touch with the imprisoned priest and his family - Archimandrite Feognost has a seriously ill mother.
