From August 26 to 27, 2016 an international Christian event - the Second Missionary forum was held at the International Center of Culture and Arts.

The event was attended by about 2,000 delegates from around the world. It gathered known missionaries, leaders of national unions, evangelists, including: Paul Msiza, president of the Baptist World Alliance, Anthony Peck, general secretary of the European Baptist Federation, Andrey Chumakin, chairman of the Northwest Baptist association of USA and others.

The Forum began with greetings by Valeriy Antonyuk, head of the AUC ECB. The sermon themed “The Kingdom of God that is coming, and missionary service of the Church” was said by Paul Msiza, president of the Baptist World Alliance.

The Diaspora representatives and heads of national Baptist unions greeted the Forum and wished to all missionaries to work with commitment and blessing for the Kingdom of God.

The following reports were delivered: “The Church as a mission,” “Kingdom of God and the modern missionary service of the Church,” “The formation and development of a missionary church.”

At the end of the first Forum day a prayer service was held for the Christians who suffer persecution.

On the second day of the Forum, August 27, was started with a joint prayer. Serhiy Moroz, deputy head of the AUC ECB, summarized the results of the Inner Mission’s ministry and noted that the AUC ECB, throughout the period of Ukraine’s independence opened 1906 churches, while 204 churches are being organized now.

Valery Antonyuk, chairman of the AUC ECB in the final sermon on "The power and the glory of the kingdom of God in the church that accomplishes God's mission in the world," said the mission determines the health of the church. And it is the mission that determines what the Church is like.

According to organizers, each participant was able to attend workshops and receive interesting and useful information, including how to use the various aspects of life of a modern Christian for evangelism; how to organize a church that is new in the modern sense; what are the current models of evangelism among youth, how the social networks can be a field for evangelism. It was also about family ministry, chaplaincy, volunteering, work with families of the victims, immigrants.

The Forum ended with a joint prayer “Our Father.”
